ESSENTIAL CONTRACT LAW FOR NON-LAWYERS 29-30, JULY 2013, HONG KONG




The course is focused on understanding and evaluating contract principles. In modern day context, understanding and evaluating contract issues is important before signing the contract. The course will focus on how contracts are formed and how it should be evaluated from a commercial and legal perspective.

This course is interactive with various case studies and practical discussions to give participants both commercial and legal perspectives in evaluating and forming contracts. Participants are encouraged to send their contract-related issues to the course leader in advance. Cases will be treated anonymously during the course.

David holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of London and Master of Business Administration degree from Victoria University. He has many years of legal experience in the private sector and is presently working in a law firm. He is also an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Over the years, David has conducted legal training for the corporate sector on various practical legal issues facing the corporate field and has lectured for many training institutions on Business and Company Law. His forte is in the field of corporate and commercial drafting of contracts, including company matters.
